CC Escapada awarded by Generalitat Valenciana

CC Escapada was awarded with the prize of Generalitat Valenciana because of its support of ethical and sustainable tourism with the celebration of Setmana Ciclista Valenciana.

The Regional Secretary for Tourism, Francesc Colomer, presided over the event "Por un Turismo responsable y sostenible, el compromiso de nuestros agentes turísticos" (For a responsible and sustainable Tourism, the compromise of our touristic agents), during which it was recognised the adhesion of 60 new touristic organisatons to the Tourism Ethical Code of Comunitat Valenciana.

Club Ciclista Escapada, organizer of Setmana Ciclista Valenciana, was among the awarded ones.

During the act, placed in Alicante, namely headquarters of Casa Mediterráneo, Colomer emphasised that it is been created an "ecosystem of people capable of understand that ethics and hospitality are fundamental values for the touristic model we pursue". "Values that will allow a recovering on the touristic sector reputation on the economy of Comunitat Valenciana" - Regional Secretary continued.
