Statement about exploitation rights of the brand Vuelta Comunidad Valenciana Féminas

From CLUB CICLISTA ESCAPADA, as organizers of "VUELTA COMUNIDAD VALENCIANA FÉMINAS" cycling event, we would like to inform you that advertising has recently been carried out in the media by CLUB CICLISTA DEMARRAGE VALENCIA as well as by PROCICLISMO ASSOCIATION on the celebration of a test with the same name as ours, while statements have been sent defacing our entity and accusing it of malpractice.

We want to express to you that these entities do not have any type of authorization or legitimacy to use this denomination since CLUB CICLISTA ESCAPADA is the exclusive owner of the exploitation rights on the brand VUELTA COMUNIDAD VALENCIANA FÉMINAS, which is granted for the entire Spanish territory and in force.

We understand that it is an attempt on the part of these entities to confuse participants and sponsors, we do not know with what objective. What is clear is that it is a clear act of exploitation of the reputation of others and infringement of our rights on the brand, in addition to a totally unfair practice.

These facts have already been brought to the attention of the Royal Spanish Cycling Federation (RFEC) as well as the International Cycling Union (UCI), providing them with documentation that accredits our rights to the brand so that they can take the pertinent actions in this regard.

We appreciate your confidence in CLUB CICLISTA ESCAPADA and we hope that situations like these do not happen again.
