I Setmana Ciclista Valenciana / Vuelta Comunidad Valenciana Féminas 2017
From March 8 to 11 the first edition of the Valencian Cycling Setmana (Vuelta Comunidad Valenciana Féminas) will be played, test 2.2 organized in the Valencian Community by the Escapada Cycling Club and included in the European calendar of the International Cycling Union (UCI). A total of 26 teams will participate, 5 of them national and 21 international, adding 156 cyclists from various European countries.
The Valencian Cyclist Setmana will consist of three stages online and an individual time trial. The race will be present in the three provinces of the Valencian Community: Castellón, Valencia and Alicante.
The first stage of the Valencian Cyclist Setmana will begin on Thursday, March 8 at 3:00 p.m. from the Hermitage Street, next to the Ceramics Stadium. There we will meet the first career leader.
The second stage will move to the province of Valencia. 101km that will start at 1:30 p.m. at Plaça Prado from where you will go to Real de Gandia, Palma de Gandia, Beniflà, Beniarjó, Almoines and Benirredrà where we will enjoy two special sprint, then we will leave the Safor region to travel through Rótova , Benicolet, Quatretonda, Barxeta where the first scoring mountain pass will be located, Simat de la Valldigna and Barx where the second mountainous difficulty will be crowned to face the vertiginous descent that will take us to the Goal located at Legionari Bernabeu street in Gandia.
This third stage presents us on this occasion the province of Alicante. Starting at 1:00 p.m. in the City of Alicante, from where you travel to San Vicente del Raspeig and Mutxamel to face the access to Bussot where the two punctual steps for the mountain prize will be. Then descend to Campello to return again to Alicante and go through another identical turn to reach the painter avenue Xavier Soler to meet the winner of the stage in Alicante.
The Alicante stage of the Setmana Ciclista Valenciana will be in charge of closing the second edition. Benidorm will know the final winner of the race after a very demanding day of 118 km that will start and end on Rei Jaume I Avenue. The Finestrat stop (2nd), which will be raised on three occasions, will be the judge of this stage and who knows if the Setmana Ciclista Valenciana.
